Kelly Ann Granell is the author of Be Your Child’s First Responder. She works as a police officer and is a mother of six. She has worked as a police officer for the past 20 years. Her motherly instincts and policing experience helped bring this kit to life.

Awards

Kelly Ann Granell was awarded the Chief of Police Excellence Award for her work with youth at risk. She was also awarded The Independent Order of Women's Award for working with youth in the inner-city neighbourhoods.

Dedication

This book is dedicated to my husband and our six beautiful children; may we always be prepared. To those children who are still missing; may we never stop searching and for those that have been killed, may we never forget them.
